Smillee started because I was tired of hitting a pay wall before I could ask one question. So there isn't one. You land on the box and type.
Three things it does: answers from the live web with links to what it used, generates images in the same chat, and Learn mode, which is the part people actually stick around for. You tell it what you want to learn and it lays out a path, teaches one piece, quizzes you, then moves on. It backs up when you get something wrong instead of steamrolling ahead.
Free means free. No card, no trial, no counter.
