A simple to-do and reminder app for Android and iPhone. Turn on an email backup for any task, and if it’s still pending after the due time, Smart Reminder emails you. Recurring tasks, colour-coded categories, calendar view, offline-first. Free, with a banner ad.
Hi, I’m Fenil, the developer of Smart Reminder. I built it for one specific problem: phone notifications get swiped away, silenced or missed, and the task quietly slips. Smart Reminder lets you switch on an email backup per task, so if it’s still pending or snoozed after its due time, you get an email too.
A few honest notes: pending tasks are checked about every 15 minutes, so the email isn’t instant. No phone app can guarantee delivery, and notifications need to be allowed in your phone settings. It’s free to download and shows a small banner ad.
What I’d most like to hear: is the email-backup setup clear when you create a task, and what would make you trust it for something important? I’ll reply to every comment today.
