Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built Slather-Up because I kept finishing long runs with one very red shoulder. Applying sunscreen is easy — remembering to reapply is the part everyone botches. Slather-Up is intentionally tiny: start a timer when you apply, get a reminder when it's time to go again. No account, no data collection, no subscription upsell on day one.
It launched on the App Store yesterday and I'd love your feedback — especially from runners, cyclists, and anyone who's ever fallen asleep on a beach. What would make this a keeper on your home screen?
thanks for the great feedback and support. I'll share that there are live events on the home screen, will consider a widget, and we have profiles where you can preselect skin tone, and activity to account for swimming and other water sports.
Love how simple this is, especially with no ads or tracking. One thing I'd find super useful is a widget for the home screen that shows the current UV level and time until my next reapply, so I don't even have to open the app while I'm out.

One feature I'd love would be a wet skin mode for reapplying after swimming or sweating, since the timer should probably reset or at least notify differently when you've been in water.
