Skyvern helps companies automate browser-based workflows using LLMs and Computer Vision, replacing manual work with AI-generated and maintained scripts We just gave Skyvern the ability to write and maintain its own code, making it 2.7x cheaper and 2.3x faster than before. Give it a prompt (or a series of prompts), and the AI will generate and maintain playwright code while it runs. Try out the via Open Source or Cloud
🎃🎃🎃 We're excited to launch Skyvern: An open source AI agent capable of browsing the web and taking actions, that can now write and maintain browser automation code, so you don't have to!
Skyvern operates by being given a URL + goal-based prompt. Skyvern then takes actions on a website until it accomplishes the goal given to it. We use multi-modal LLMs under the hood to parse the viewport and interact with it the way a human would. As Skyvern navigates, it generates playwright code as a developer would, so that subsequent runs can use code instead of AI. This makes Skyvern 2.7x cheaper and 2.3x faster in subsequent runs.
The best part? If the website ever changes, Skyvern falls back to the AI mode, and fixes the code automatically!

What about logs. I think to automate writing code you need. AI + Tests + Access to Logs. Thats my experience at least. Works great with tricky hard problems.
Really cool concept! How well does Skyvern handle multi-step workflows behind login walls, especially when sessions expire or MFA is enabled?
Is there anything Skyvern can't handle? Such a cool product, and a superbly talented team. Congrats on the launch, the new features look fantastic! Looking forward to giving it a try.
Wishing you all the best for today's launch! The code generation feature is really exciting.

Skyvern was hunted by Garry Tan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
