Grabbed a few classroom videos as MP4s and it worked without any fuss, really handy for keeping lessons even after cohorts close. Nice that it just dumps straight to your downloads folder.
Does this only grab videos Skool serves directly, or can it handle the ones embedded from YouTube and Vimeo too?
how does it handle DRM or protected streams, and is there any limit on how many videos you can grab in one go?
Downloaded a couple classroom lessons and it pulled MP4s straight to my drive without any fuss. Honestly the batch approach for community posts is the part i didn't know i needed.
Saved a full classroom module in just a few clicks, the MP4 came out clean and properly named without me having to mess with any settings. Wish I had this before my cohort closed last month.
Really useful idea since Skool content can disappear without warning. One thing that would make it even better is letting users schedule automatic re-downloads of saved videos on a set schedule, so you can keep a local backup that stays in sync with any re-uploads or edits without having to remember to do it yourself.
Does it handle the DRM-protected streams Skool uses, or only the standard HTML5 video tags? That single detail probably decides whether this is actually useful for the bulk of classroom content.
