Sketch2scheme converts hand-drawn flowcharts and diagrams into digital formats using AI, recognizing nodes, connections, text and auto-arranging elements. Export your work to PNG, SVG, PDF, or edit results with Draw.io or Mermaid code.
I am excited to share with you a tool I recently created - Sketch2scheme. ✍️✨ Sketch2scheme allows you to easily convert hand-drawn flowcharts and diagrams into digital schemes.
I created this tool when I needed to digitalize several hand-drawn sketches for a system architecture project and found myself wasting a lot of time starting from scratch. That's why I think Sketch2scheme can be helpful for designers, engineers, and project managers who need to quickly turn paper sketches into professional digital diagrams. 🧑💻💡
It uses OpenAI under the hood with Mermaid code, but the results can be edited in Draw.io as well. While modern AI doesn't provide 100% recognition quality, I believe it’s still much better to start more than halfway done and adjust what AI prepared for you rather than crafting from zero. 🚀
Please let me know what you think! 😊
Congrats on launching Sketch2scheme! This app sounds like a lifesaver for anyone who loves sketching ideas by hand but needs a polished digital version. The AI recognition and auto-arranging elements are particularly impressive. I'm curious, how accurate is the text recognition, and does it support multiple languages?
Sounds too good to be true! Before I dive in, can I try this tool out with a few of my drawings to see if the conversion quality is good? A free trial or demo would be reassuring.
I often use mind maps to brainstorm ideas. Would this tool work for those messy, non-linear sketches as well, or is it just for flowcharts and such? Knowing its range of applications would be helpful.
I hate how my hand-drawn plans always look like a spiderweb. Can this tool really clean them up and make them look professional? Seeing some before-and-after examples would be convincing.
This sounds like magic! Is it easy to use, or do you need to be an artist to make it work with your sketches? Anything that can save me time redrawing things on the computer is a win.
I love this! I'm curious if it is just a single attempt, or is there some comparison step where the output is checked for consistency against the input and adjusted?
This tool is perfect for brainstorming visually! I can sketch out ideas on paper Cheers.
