We built Showlet because sometimes the easiest way to help a customer is to show them.
At Accordo, we wanted a simple way to record a feature walkthrough or answer a question with a quick video. Tools like Loom, Cap, and CleanShot have plenty to offer, but our needs were small: record, review, and share—with our own branding and control over where recordings are stored.
We couldn’t find an existing project that fit quite right, so we built one. And since we’re not getting into the video-sharing business, we’re sharing it under the MIT license.
So, meet Showlet: show a little, explain a lot.
It’s a lightweight screen recorder you host in your own Cloudflare account, with:
- Shareable links and optional passcodes
- AI transcripts and editable title suggestions
- A team library and simple viewing stats
- Light and dark modes
You run it, control the storage, and pay your own hosting costs. There’s no Showlet subscription.
This is an early community release, offered as is, without warranty or a support commitment. We intend to bring over useful improvements as we develop our internal version, but we’re not promising a release schedule.
