Record your screen and get back a finished video with the camera moves already in place. Every click, drag and keystroke becomes a zoom. No editing, and nothing ever leaves your computer.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 Every good product demo I saw was made with Screen Studio. It's Mac only. I'm on Windows. So I built ScreenCursor. It's a Chrome extension. You hit record, and it watches where your cursor goes and where you click. When you stop, the zooms are already placed. You get a finished video, not a project to edit. Three things I cared about: It runs anywhere Chrome runs. Windows, Mac, Linux. No installer, no admin rights. Nothing is uploaded. The recording never leaves your computer. No account, no server, no watermark. $49 once lifetime! not $108 a year. Every zoom is still yours. Move it, resize it, delete it, or turn it off entirely if the automatic one guessed wrong. For Product Hunt: 50% off with code PRODUCTHUNT, $24.50 instead of $49, for the next 7 days. I'd genuinely love to hear what breaks, especially if you're on Windows or Linux. That's who I built this for, and that's exactly where I have the fewest testers. Ask me anything.

$49 once vs a subscription is the right pitch for this category, but I'm curious how the auto-zoom handles a fast, messy demo - lots of quick tab switches, rapid clicking around, no pauses. Does it still pick sensible zoom points, or does that kind of session end up needing a lot of manual "move it, resize it, delete it" cleanup after?

@phoenixiam The 'nothing leaves your computer' part is what sold me. I've used Loom for years but stopped because I didn't want client recordings sitting on their servers.

One thing I noticed from your comment to Charlie — you said zoom effects won't work perfectly outside the browser yet. Any rough ETA on the custom focus point update? I record a mix of browser and app windows so that feature would be huge for me.

Congrats on the launch, Phoenix. Rooting for this one.

Hey Phoenix. As a Chrome extension rather than a native app, does it capture other windows and your whole desktop too, or only what's inside the browser tab?
