honestly looks solid for scrap yards since you can get live in a day which is huge. one thing that would be really helpful is a customer portal so buyers can pull their own weight tickets and invoices without calling in, would save a ton of admin time for the office staff.
Honestly the live in a day thing had me skeptical but setup was basically painless. Scale tickets syncing to inventory without me babysitting it was a nice surprise.
Finally a scrap yard tool that doesn't feel like it was built in the 90s. Got my scale tickets auto-generating after like ten minutes of setup, which honestly saved me a whole afternoon of data entry.
If you could add a quick photo capture for each load right on the scale ticket, that would save my guys a ton of time when disputes pop up. We currently snap pics on our phones separately and it gets messy fast.
honestly the live in a day thing is kind of wild, i got the scale tickets going by lunch. way easier than the spreadsheet mess we had before.
One thing that would be really useful is a mobile-friendly dashboard for truck drivers and yard staff to update ticket info on the spot, maybe with a barcode scanner to pull up vehicle or supplier records instantly. Would cut down on the back and forth to a front desk computer and make the whole workflow feel way more connected out in the yard.
