I’m the CEO and co-founder of Scenery, and I’m excited to officially release Scenery.video after more than a year of research and refinement in beta.
Scenery is here to make video a team sport by bringing video editing, asset management, and review together in a collaborative, browser-based product with powerful AI tools. (You can think of Scenery like Figma for video teams.)
As part of our launch, we’re also introducing our AI Editor, which categorizes your content based on a video’s transcript, then lets you quickly create an edited cutdown by describing what you want to create.
Throughout beta we’ve been fortunate to be able to partner with a wide range of customers, including marketing teams, universities, and documentary filmmakers at companies like Hubspot, Pinterest, AxiosHQ, the Screenagers Documentary, MyndVR, UCSB Film & Media Studies, Rutgers, Harvard, and more.

First, the pros: Your concept of making video editing a collaborative browser-based process with powerful AI tools sounds highly innovative. Scenery seems to offer a convenient and effective way for teams to work with video, which could significantly speed up the workflow.
However, I do have some skeptical questions. First, how accurate and reliable are the AI tools in Scenery, especially regarding content categorization? Second, how does Scenery handle large files and complex projects without losing performance, considering it's a browser-based product?
And a question for you as the founder: Do you foresee any specific limitations or technical challenges in the future that might impact Scenery's functionality and scalability? How do you plan to overcome these obstacles?

Scenery's approach to making video editing a collaborative experience is intriguing. How does it handle large video files, and are there any limitations on storage for free users?
I am running marketing for Edily, (launching soon) a video based platform and I also make a lot of content online; I have been looking for a platform to do more collective editing. I have tried out some apps but they arent very user friendly, I cannot wait to try Scenery!!
