It might not be perfect yet, and there are surely bigger apps out there, but that was my motivation to create a clean alternative. I’m the developer behind Scandora. To be completely honest, I started building this app because I was deeply frustrated. Every time I needed to quickly scan a QR code, I had to download apps that were bloated, covered in intrusive ads, and trying to track my data in the background.
I wanted something clean, simple, and respectful of user privacy. So, I decided to build it myself.
Scandora is 100% ad-free, tracking-free, and works entirely on your device. It also includes a simple history and a backup function.
I know it might not be perfect yet, and there are plenty of alternative scanners out there. But this is just the beginning. I am fully committed to improving the app, and I would love to hear your honest feedback, feature requests, or suggestions.
