Samplify IH helps safety teams evaluate chemical exposure risk when exposure data doesn’t exist yet. It uses hazard data to assign exposure bands and generate sampling plans, replacing spreadsheets and manual management-of-change reviews for teams managing frequent chemical or process changes. It is designed so small safety teams can support large, global operations.
Hey everyone, thanks for checking this out.
I’ve worked in occupational health and safety in the chemical and pharma space for 10 years, mostly in large organizations with hundreds of facilities.
And I’ll be honest: one of the most consistent problems I’ve seen is that chemical inventories are bad. Not slightly off, bad enough that people on the floor often don’t actually know what they’re working with or what PPE is required.
And that’s where things get dangerous.
Because when teams are stretched thin (which they always are), reviews don’t get done, updates don’t happen, and you end up relying on systems that technically “exist” for compliance, but don’t actually protect anyone in practice.
That matters even more because OSHA’s Hazard Communication standard is one of the most cited, and in real life it often comes down to whether someone can confidently explain what they’re exposed to and how they’re protected.
We built Samplify IH because I got tired of seeing that gap over and over.
It’s a simple chemical inventory and exposure assessment tool that takes a few steps to get started, then automatically evaluates risk based on how chemicals are actually used in the real world, not just what’s on the SDS, and helps prioritize what should be measured or reviewed.
I’ve seen lean EHS teams trying to manage hundreds of sites with barely enough people to keep up. This is built for that reality.
Curious to hear from others in EHS, industrial hygiene, or chemical and pharma labs or manufacturing settings. Do you see the same gap in your organizations, or is this just what I ran into?
