Hey PH -- I'm Corey, the founder of Rung. I built this because I kept reading the same stat and couldn't shake it: the average person spends 9+ years at the end of their life in poor health. In the US, it's over 12. Most of that is driven by lifestyle -- the stuff we technically know how to fix but can't seem to stick with. I looked at what's out there. Fitness trackers give you numbers but no guidance. Coaching apps like Noom focus on one thing (usually weight) and charge $70+/month. Nobody was connecting the dots across the key pillars of health (sleep, movement, recovery, nutrition, mental wellbeing, and social connection) -- and actually coaching you on all of it using your real data. So I built Rung. It connects to your Apple Watch, reads your health data, and uses AI to coach you across six pillars of wellbeing. Actual personalized coaching based on what your body is telling you today. Some context on how this got made: I'm a marketing guy, not an engineer. I taught myself Swift and built the entire app solo over about 5 months. The AI coaching runs on Claude. The whole thing is held together by an unhealthy number of late nights. It's still early and there's a ton still to build. But the core loop works and the early feedback has been genuinely encouraging, over 50 downloads in the first week. I'd love your honest feedback. What's working, what's not, what would make you actually use this daily.

Who hunted Rung?

Rung was hunted by Corey Hearne. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
