I’m thrilled to share RipTune with you today!
As someone who spent years both DJing and producing music on DAWs like Ableton and FL Studio, I always faced the exact same frustrating workflow.
Whenever my producer friends or I wanted to grab a typebeat, a quick sample for a track, or back up our own YouTube/SoundCloud playlists for a gig, it was an absolute nightmare. We had to cycle through sketchy, ad-ridden web downloaders that limit your speed, cap your daily downloads, or break every two weeks.
Not only did it completely kill the creative flow and productivity, but once the audio was finally downloaded, we still had to drop it into a separate tool just to analyze the BPM and Key before dragging it into our project.
I got tired of this broken process, so I built RipTune. A clean, native, completely free and open-source all-in-one desktop app for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
