I built this because the current landscape of resume tools feels incredibly predatory. You spend an hour entering all your information, getting the layout and design just right, and when you finally click "Download", you're hit with a $15/month subscription paywall. I found this so frustrating that I decided to solve the problem myself.

Finally tried this out and the local-only aspect won me over, my data never leaves the browser which is a huge plus. The live preview while tweaking typography made it feel way less painful than other builders I have used.
Running entirely in the browser is a really thoughtful touch, especially for privacy. One thing that would make it even more useful is adding a built-in option to import an existing resume from PDF or Word and auto-fill the fields, since rewriting a resume from scratch is often the biggest barrier when someone switches tools.
Love seeing a free, local-first resume builder with actual PDF export that doesn't hold features hostage. One thing that would make it even more useful: an AI-assisted bullet point rewriter that suggests stronger action verbs and quantifiers, all running locally so the privacy promise holds. Could really help folks who stare at a blank line forever.
