Hi Product Hunt, I'm Aman.
Over past few years, I'd wear my Apple Watch to bed, open a sleep app in the morning, and get a wall of charts and a nagging tone. All I wanted was one sentence, is today a push day or a rest day?
So, I built RestUp.
It reads last night from Apple Health and gives you one reading. Readiness out of 100, a sleep score, sleep debt, and a few plain words about what it means. After a few weeks it works out your chronotype and rhythm, and on Sundays it writes you a short digest of the week.
Your phone computes every score. The app uploads nothing, never asks for an account, and never writes to Health. When you slept badly it says go gently and moves on, because I believe, a rest day is a fine outcome. It doesn't set alarms, play sounds, or hand you a coaching plan. It reads and tells you what it saw.
It won't diagnose anything, so treat it as a wellness app.
The first week is free, so you can see a full digest before paying anything.
I'd love to hear what you'd want your watch to tell you in the morning, and what a sleep app once did that made you delete it.
