I'm Mike, a solo dev from the UK.
Two years ago I lost my best friend. After the funeral everyone's photos and stories of him were scattered across camera rolls and group chats. It bothered me for ages. They should live somewhere, together. So I built this.
It's pretty simple. You create a memorial and share a join code. Friends, family and attendees can add their photos and videos with a comment, no account needed. Then you pick your favourites and the order you want them to appear in, choose a soundtrack if you want one, and then ther app makes a tribute video you can play at the service or wake on a TV or projector. After that, one tap sends it to everyone who contributed so they can watch it on their own phone right there and then, or download it to watch again later.
Creating a memorial and collecting memories is free. There's a one-off unlock for the tribute video.

The no account thing for contributing is honestly such a relief during an already overwhelming time. Curious how the soundtrack selection actually works, like do you pick from a library or upload your own?
