Rekami started as a pretty simple idea.
I enjoy experimenting with cameras, networking, and robotics, and over time I ended up with several IP cameras from different brands. The problem was that each one came with its own app, its own setup process, and its own limitations.
I just wanted something simple where I could connect my cameras, view them in one place, and work with open standards like RTSP and ONVIF.
That small personal project gradually became Rekami.
Today it can discover cameras on your network, stream live video, take snapshots, record video, and monitor multiple cameras from one place.
I’m still actively experimenting with different cameras and use cases, so I’d really appreciate any feedback, especially from people who also enjoy IP cameras, home automation, robotics, or just tinkering with hardware.
