I built RedGifs Bulk Downloader as part of my Apify downloader portfolio.
It accepts public RedGifs watch URLs, iframe URLs, raw IDs, or a search query, then saves dataset rows with direct MP4 links, thumbnails, tags, duration, dimensions, profile details, and engagement counts when available. You can also copy MP4 files into Apify storage and create a ZIP archive for a run.

One thing I'd love to see is a duplicate detection step before downloads kick off, maybe hashing by RedGifs ID or file content, so you don't end up with the same clips twice when feeding in mixed sources like links plus search results.
Downloaded a batch of 30 videos from search and the ZIP came out perfectly organized with thumbnails and metadata intact. The direct MP4 links saved me a ton of time on my archive project.
Handy for grabbing direct MP4 links in bulk, the thumbnail and metadata export saved me a lot of manual clicking when archiving a few searches.
A solid tool for anyone doing large scale archiving. One thing that would make it way more useful for API workflows is webhook callbacks when a ZIP archive finishes processing, so I don't have to keep polling for completion. Would love to see that added.
honestly the bulk download via search is super handy, saved me a ton of time grabbing clips for a project. wish the zip export had a progress bar but it works fine.
