Hey Product Hunt! 🦦
I built Ravioli because I wanted a simple postage-stamp effect for my designs, but opening Figma each time and playing with its pen just to create one felt like overkill!
So I made a tiny tool that does exactly that.
With Ravioli, you can create a customized stamp shape, adjust the holes and roundness, and export it as a transparent PNG or SVG.
It’s free, simple, and requires no signup.
I’d love to know what you’d use Ravioli for — and what you think I should add next 🥟
Adding a white/light image you cannot see the borders, might want to add a small shadow here or offer a dark mode.
hey Hesam, cool little tool. I'd use this for a "reviewed" stamp overlay on internal screenshots during async design reviews - way faster than opening Figma just to drop a stamp shape on something and re-export as a png. one thing that'd save a step for me: a couple of built-in stamp presets (classic postmark circle, wax-seal scallop edge) so I'm not manually dialing in roundness + hole spacing from scratch to get a familiar look.
a real use i had for this yesterday: i needed a 240px png for a product hunt thumbnail and the source art was svg only, which ph wont accept there, so i was already rasterising through a url based converter just to get a flat png out. a stamp edge on that would have been a nice touch and i still wouldnt have opened figma for it. the thing id check before adding anything is how the svg export is structured. if each perforation comes out as its own subpath instead of one compound path with an even-odd fill rule, it looks identical in a browser and then falls apart the moment someone uses it as a clip mask or sends it to a cutter. thats the bug that gets reported to you as it broke in illustrator, with no other detail. and if you want one small addition, exporting at an exact pixel width rather than a scale multiplier would have saved me the step i did by hand.
It feels like going back to the era of stickers, stamps and everything what we used to collect as kids :)
