Hey Product Hunt!

I'm Bap, co-founder at CloudRaker — we build agent and developer-friendly primitives and tools for everything paperwork!

Today we're launching the RakeSign app: a free, unlimited alternative to DocuSign, with an API for developers.

Getting an agreement signed is ordinary work: send a consulting agreement, approve a purchase, get a client to sign a proposal.

We think that work should be available without a charge for each document.

We already built signing into CloudRaker's document workflows. RakeSign gives that capability its own workspace, where you can prepare agreements and follow them through to completion.

Here's what you can do:

- Upload an agreement or write one in the app.

- Add signers and approvers, then set their order.

- Place signature fields and review the document before sending.

- Reuse templates, collect details through forms, and prepare bulk sends.

- Track progress and download the signed PDF.

Developers get an API that works with the same documents, templates, and audit records. A document created by your integration appears in your team's RakeSign workspace. Your colleagues can follow its progress there.

Free and unlimited means unlimited documents — paid plans are available for large volumes of "concurrent envelopes" (multiple documents out for signature at the same time).

We cryptographically sign and timestamp PDFs with a Document Signing Certificate that's recognized by most PDF readers, including Adobe Acrobat.

We built this for people who need agreements signed regularly, whether they send them themselves or build signing into their software.

Try the app and check out our website for more info!

What do you send for signature most often, and what makes that process harder than it should be?

Bap and the CloudRaker team

Who hunted RakeSign?

RakeSign was hunted by Baptiste Laget. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
