Coming from a design background where I spend my time thinking about how people's screens should look and feel, I couldn't stop thinking about the untapped potential of that page. It felt like a massive missed opportunity to genuinely improve our daily user experience.
So, I spent my weekends over the last six months building PrismTab to earn that space back. It transforms the new tab into a clean, customizable workspace with stuff that we check every day: weather, tasks, a quick timer, our actual bookmarks, all in one place.
Today I'm launching v1.0.0. It's still early, and I've already got a long list of things I want to add.
I'd genuinely love to hear what you think — every bit of feedback helps shape what's coming next.
the layout is really clean and i love that everything stays local. one thing though, it would be awesome if i could pin specific widgets to certain positions instead of just toggling them on and off. having a quick way to drag and reorder would make it feel way more like my own space
