What Preempt does
Scan every prompt before it leaves your keyboard.
For users → install the browser extension. A "P" icon appears in every AI chat input and silently scans in real time. Nothing changes about how you use AI — you just get warned before something goes wrong.
For developers → one call to /v1/sanitize. If a prompt is malicious, it's blocked. If it contains PII, it's encrypted — and real values are restored in the response. Zero infrastructure changes.

Love the idea of catching PII leaks before they hit the model. One thing I'd love to see is a quick "explain why" tooltip on flagged prompts, like surfacing the exact phrase or pattern that tripped the detection, so my team can actually learn from the blocks instead of just blindly trusting them.
Caught a sneaky prompt injection in my own test query, which was honestly more satisfying than expected. Setup was quick and the browser extension just sits quietly until something feels off.
A browser extension is great for personal use, but a Slack or Teams integration would be super helpful for teams to catch risky prompts in shared workflows without everyone needing to install anything separately.
One thing I'd love to see is a "learning mode" where the extension explains why it flagged a particular prompt, so I can understand the reasoning and adjust my own habits. Would make the tool feel less like a black box and more like a coach for safer AI use.
