Most interview prep tools only do one thing. Practers puts the whole journey in one platform. You get voice based mock interviews that ask real follow up questions, live peer to peer interviews with other candidates, sessions with vetted professionals, timed coding contests with leaderboards, a resume ATS score with fixes, and a question bank tagged by company. Every session ends with a clear report, so you always know what to work on next.

It's 11pm before your first real interview. You have done hundreds of problems but that one question is still stuck in your head: am I actually ready? You open Practers and start a mock. The interviewer asks you to walk through your approach before you even touch the keyboard, then pushes back on your first idea, exactly like a real one would. Twenty minutes later you get a report that says your logic was fine but you froze the moment you had to defend it. That feeling, knowing the exact thing to fix, is the whole product. Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Fahad, Founder of Practers. I got tired of interview prep being scattered across ten tabs where none of them told me if I was ready, so we pulled the whole thing into one place. Here is what is actually inside and what I love about each part. Voice mock interviews - You talk through the problem out loud and it asks real follow up questions, then scores your approach and your code, not just whether the tests passed. Peer to peer interviews - Pair up with another candidate, take turns interviewing each other, and swap honest feedback after. This is my favourite. Saying your thinking out loud to a real person is where you actually get better. Sessions with professionals - Book a real mock with a vetted engineer and get detailed feedback on exactly where you are losing points. A real coding editor. Write in C++, Java, Python or JavaScript and run against sample and hidden tests, the same way an actual online assessment works. Coding contests - Timed rounds with live leaderboards and proctoring, so you learn to hold it together under pressure. Resume ATS score - Paste your resume and the job description and see what the parser quietly throws away, then fix each gap in one click. This one saves people from getting filtered out before a human ever reads their resume. A question bank tagged by company, so you practise exactly what your target companies actually ask. Because everything you do here gets scored as it happens, what you walk away with is proof you can do the work, not just a certificate that says you sat through something. I started building this because of my own placement season. I bounced between random problem sets, YouTube videos and mock calls with friends, and I still walked into interviews half sure I would freeze. The thing that finally moved the needle was doing realistic reps and getting told exactly what I got wrong, so I set out to build that for everyone. And here is the bigger thing we are chasing. Hiring is broken on both sides. People grind for months and still get judged on one page, and companies dig through thousands of those pages with almost no real signal of who can do the job. So we are building a hiring pipeline on top of all this, where your verified profile, your real coding activity and your interview history become proof a company can actually trust. The goal is simple. Get hired for what you can really do, not for how well you wrote a resume. It started as a simple mock interview tool and kept growing as people asked for the next step in their prep. We are still early and would genuinely love your honest feedback. I'll be here all day reading every comment.

Comment highlights

I still remember freezing in my first interview. I knew the answer but the second they asked me to explain my thinking out loud, my mind went blank. Wish something like this existed back then.

the voice based mock interviews that actually ask real follow up questions are kind of brilliant, you know. that's the one thing most prep tools completely fumble
