Hi Product Hunt — I built PoUC after asking a simple question:
**Can useful work, rather than capital, become a verifiable part of network infrastructure?**
PoUC stands for Proof of Useful Contribution. It turns signed contribution records into portable credentials and contribution-derived reputation. Version 1.0 focuses on AI safety red-teaming, model evaluation, privacy-preserving data work, and human verification.
The core flow is:
1. A contributor performs a bounded task.
2. The client creates a sanitized, bounded receipt and content commitment; raw prompts, PII, and model output remain off-chain.
3. Verifiers submit signed L1/L2/L3 attestations.
4. The runtime prevents duplicate submissions, updates contribution-derived reputation, and exposes credential, revocation, and appeal state.
5. Eligible Collator candidates use registered Session Keys and reputation-based selection. PoUC does not require a native token, staking, or a candidacy bond.
The repository includes a Polkadot SDK/FRAME runtime, Evaluation and AI Safety DApps, a Portal, TypeScript SDK/API clients, an off-chain evidence gateway, and an Android Edge Node tested on a Pixel 6a.
The Android client is a lightweight observer/relay client. It is not a Polkadot Validator or Collator.
This is an early Testnet/RC experiment — not an official Polkadot product, a public Relay Chain deployment, or a production parachain. I’m looking for direct feedback on protocol design, developer experience, portability, and the limits of contribution-based reputation.
