I built Pocket PMO because I was spending more time reporting on delivery than actually delivering.
A couple of years ago I was running projects across several clients at once. Every Friday looked the same: pulling status out of four different tools, copy-pasting it into slides, chasing RAID updates by email, then rewriting it all into a board pack that was out of date before I hit send. The clients were paying me to keep delivery on track, and I was keeping the spreadsheets on track instead.
I tried the big PPM platforms. They were built for 20-seat PMO teams with implementation budgets and six-month rollouts — not for someone like me carrying the governance on my own. So I started building the tool I actually wanted: one place where ideas, roadmaps, pipeline, projects, portfolio and lessons all connect; where status packs and RAID updates are drafted from live data; and where nothing gets sent or logged until I approve it.
That approval-first part matters to me. I don't want AI acting like it runs the project. I want it to do the boring draft work so I can stay in control.
