We all love beautiful, organic gradient backgrounds, but building them with raw WebGL or fragment shaders is incredibly time-consuming and hard to write from scratch. Standard CSS gradients are lightweight but static and boring.
I built Plasma to solve this. It's a playground to tweak fluid and organic backgrounds visually and get them into production in seconds.

The live preview with adjustable flow speed and grain is such a nice touch, makes iterating on the shader feel really hands on. exporting as a CDN script straight from the browser is genuinely clever too.
The live editor is genuinely fun to mess with, and exporting as a CDN script makes dropping these into a project feel almost too easy.
The live preview while tweaking noise and grain feels incredibly smooth, and the triple export options cover exactly what I'd need depending on the project. Really thoughtful execution on something that could've easily been just another gradient generator.
this looks really clean, love that you can copy the raw shader. one thing that would help a lot is letting us save gradient presets to a personal library so we dont have to re-tweak colors every time we start a new project
