PicProgress allows you to align your progress photos using an overlay of a previous image, either taken in the app or imported from the device. Multiple angles for each check in are available along with positions (Upper Body, Full Body etc). Comparison of images over time is simple, by selecting a start date and end date you can compare either with a slider, side-by-side images or create a video transition. Social posts can be exported directly from the app to share your hard work.

I started on my fittness journey a couple of years ago. I had some heart issues which made me realize that I needed to get in shape. I was not big but needed to be fitter and build muscle. The problem was that my weight didn't change dramatically, as I didn't have large amounts of weight to loose, and I was struggling to stay motivated not seeing any change. I had tried multiple ways to compare images to see progress but the position was always off and I found that I had to upload images to my computer just to create side-by-side comparisons. Switching quickly between dates wasn't possible. After a lot of frustration I decided to create my own app to help keep me motivated. It took a little time to iron our the features but as soon as I started using it I knew this would be helpful for others, so I released the app last week.
