We are building Phase. An easy to use, secure alternative to .env files for managing application secrets and environment variables. We have found in our experience, existing tools like HashiCorp Vault are too complex and time consuming for developers to set up and are mainly aimed at DevOps engineers. We are laser focused on making it easier for developers to manage their application secrets, from their laptop 💻 to the cloud ☁️.

Phase 6 addresses a critical need in the developer community for managing application secrets. The open-source and end-to-end encryption features are particularly appealing. How does Phase 6 compare to other secrets management tools like HashiCorp Vault in terms of ease of use?
I use Google Cloud Secret Manager.
Why would anyone use another app instead of the one built into their cloud provider?
Is it similar to Infisical and Doppler? 🤓

Hey @nimishk and Rohan, congratulations on the launch! I tried out Phase a while back and was pretty impressed. The DX is amazing, especially the CLI. Managing secrets has been such a pain, I am definitely gonna use Phase for projects I work on going forward.

Secret management is one of the things every enterprise developer should care about. can it be connected with other popular secret management tool in cloud?
This is a mess for us. We don't know where to store them safely. So either we don't store them or we put it into a docs file. Will share with our CTO.
There is soo much value in this. I will share it with my team as this usually is a pain-point for us.
