Pexo makes creating your launch video as simple as having a conversation. Share your product, website, or assets. It plans the story, chooses the right AI model for each task, generates and assembles the scenes, and handles voiceover, music, captions, motion graphics, and editing. Leave a comment or circle what you want changed, and Pexo makes the edit. You direct one agent from idea to a finished, on-brand launch video.
I can talk about my app for an hour. Ask me to explain it in 30 seconds and I’m useless.
Just tried Pexo and used it to create my own launch video. Really impressed with the experience so far.
What I liked most is how interactive the creation process feels. Instead of generating everything at once, it pauses at certain points to ask questions and waits for your input before moving forward, almost like working with Codex. It also generates the opening section first, so you can review the style and direction before approving it to create the rest of the video.
One thing I’m still a little confused about is the credit system. One 30-second video cost me 124 credits, while another 45-second video used around 1,600 credits. That’s a pretty big difference, and I’m not quite sure what determines the credit usage.
Overall, though, the creation experience is really impressive.
Can I give it a scrappy screen recording? I’ve got one, it’s just not something I’d post.
I was going to post a screen recording. Ended up using the Pexo video for the launch instead.
Congrats on the launch, Evan and team! The conversational edit flow looks genuinely useful.
Killer idea - love to see all of this shipping in real time - Dev side working overtime haha
the frame-comment editing model is the part that stands out to me - most AI video tools still make you rewrite the whole prompt and hope the regeneration keeps everything else intact. pointing at a specific frame and saying what's wrong with it is a much closer match to how people already give feedback on a cut. curious how far that goes though - can you comment on just the audio/voiceover of a scene without touching the visuals, or does every edit regenerate the whole clip?
Congrats on the launch! Can Pexo remember a brand’s style when creating videos for different launches?
I like this whole concept. Can it also "scan" e.g. my look/appearance and I will be the narrator in the explainer video?
Opened it for a quick look and ended up finishing a product video. Wasn’t on today’s to-do list, but I’ll take it.
Congrats on launch, Evan — the handoff from rough product capture to a coherent story is the hard part, and the comment-and-circle editing model sounds especially useful. One small tip that’s helped me with launch videos: cut the first pass to the user’s “aha” moment, then add context only where it removes doubt. Hope launch day treats you well!
Nice, what timing! I was looking for a tool like this, but since Opus 5.5 was released, I've found a solution. I'll compare the results from Claude + my knowledge base with Pexo! LFG
Excellent idea! With Pexo choosing an appropriate AI algorithm for each individual task, is it possible to view or change the selected algorithm for a particular scene? Btw, Congratulations team Pexo 🎊✌️
Can it work well when the product has several features that need different levels of attention?

Pexo was hunted by Chris Messina. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. This is great. Does revising a draft cost credits each time, or can you go back and forth a bit before landing on a final version?
