I personally have two leg panels and an arm sleeve. While researching tattoo artists, I went down hashtag rabbit holes to find the right ones. I built Perspectiv.Ink to let you search by style, subject, and location.
Finally a tattoo search that gets style matching right, I described something loose and sketchy and it surfaced artists I hadn't found scrolling instagram for hours. Wish the location filter showed actual commute times though.
honestly this looks super useful, the idea of describing what you want instead of scrolling forever is great. one thing though, it would help a lot if you could save artists to a shortlist or like a favorites list within the app so you can compare them side by side later when youre actually ready to book
Tried describing a fine line piece I have in mind and it actually pulled up three local artists whose portfolios look like what I was picturing, which feels almost too specific. The style filters seem way more useful than just scrolling Instagram endlessly.
