I built Pealo because I was late to a client call that could have been worth my quarterly revenue. My phone was on silent. The calendar notification sat in my notification center for 20 minutes while I was finishing something else at my desk. Nobody called. I just missed it.
That night I set three manual alarms for the next morning's meetings. The night after that, four. Within a week I had a ritual: open Calendar, count tomorrow's meetings, switch to Clock, set alarms one by one. Every single night. Miss one and the whole thing falls apart.
The thing is - iOS already has real alarms. The Clock app rings through Silent Mode, through Focus, through Do Not Disturb. But there's no way to connect that to your calendar. So I built the bridge.
Pealo connects to Google Calendar, Outlook, or iCloud. It reads your events and creates real system alarms using Apple's AlarmKit - the same engine the Clock app uses. When a meeting moves or gets cancelled, alarms update on their own. A Live Activity countdown sits on your Lock Screen before each one.
I'm a solo founder, a few weeks in. I read every bug report personally and reply within a day. Find something broken? There's a report button in the app - and it earns you 30 days free.
