Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm the laziest person in my office when it comes to drinking water, stretching and walking. I tried so many reminder apps, but a notification is too easy to ignore. None of them actually pushed me.
So I thought, what if a cute pet walked onto my screen and asked me itself? Okay then, built it.
Pawse is a free, open-source Mac app with 5 little 3D pets (Momo, Mochi, Pip, Yuzu and Boo):
• Water reminders with a daily goal and streaks. Say "not yet" and the pet gets sad and comes back to plead 🥺
• Custom habits on any interval, like stretch every 30 min or walk every hour
• Screen-time breaks with a 20-20-20 eye rest
• Optional hard block: your screen stays locked until you actually do it 😅
No account, no tracking, everything stays on your Mac. Works on macOS 13+ (Apple silicon and Intel).
I'd love to hear what habit you'd want a pet to nag you about, and which pet I should add next!
