Why would I use this over the one that is already built in Chrome? Anyways the password would need to be stored in Chrome, so why should I install a new plugin?

As a suggestion, have you explored the possibility of integrating a password strength indicator within the extension? It could provide users with immediate feedback on the robustness of the generated passwords.
A very useful product - before that I used sites with password generation, but this is a few extra steps - open the find tab and so on - your generator solves this problem. Kudos for the launch
