I built Paper because I kept thinking about our relationship with AI. So much of it is becoming "ask AI, get an answer," and I wanted to see if that relationship could be different.
What if AI didn't do the thinking for you? What if it just gave you something to think about?
That idea eventually became Paper: a notebook that talks back while you write.
I don't know where it'll go. I built it because I wanted to see if that idea could actually work.
