Some of my fondest childhood memories are of getting together with my dad and uncle on Sundays to watch Formula 1 races. Back then, I was too young to understand the engineering behind it.
Now that I’m approaching 40, I no longer have that excuse. I’m apparently just too dumb to understand it.
So I built a digital garage where you can take apart every major component of a real Formula 1 car. And yes, I’m a Ferrari fan, so that’s the first car I built—but more are coming.

The goal is simple: so people like me don’t feel completely lost the next time a commentator starts talking about aerodynamics, suspension geometry, or energy recovery—or when we watch the next F1 Tech Talk on YouTube.

A real racing school dream come true, love how hands on it feels pulling the car apart. One thing that would take it further is a timed challenge mode where you have to diagnose a specific mechanical issue under a lap clock, makes it feel like an actual pit stop scenario.
Loving the 3D pull-apart car concept, that's genuinely clever for learning aero and suspension concepts. One thing that would make this even better is adding a "compare two setups" mode where you can tweak downforce levels or suspension geometry side by side and see how it changes lap times or tire wear. Would help connect the engineering lessons to actual race strategy decisions.
