Browse a fake catalog, spend pretend money, and track a snail who slowly delivers your order. Nothing real ever ships. That is the point. All the joy of ordering, none of the packages.

Hey PH! Solo dev here. Pabo started because I kept opening shopping apps at midnight with no intention of buying. Korea solved this with "dopamine sites", fake delivery pages you order from for the feeling. I built the full app version: catalog, cart, a daily allowance of pretend money, live snail tracking, ranks for loyal customers of nothing. Free on Google Play, Android first. iOS waitlist here if you want it: https://tally.so/r/obQ4QM. Ask me anything, especially about the snail.

This is such a cute concept, the snail delivery tracker alone made me smile. One idea: add a little journal or "unboxing notes" section where you can write what you imagined was inside each fake order, so you can revisit the little stories you invented later.

Tried it on a boring Tuesday afternoon and the little snail delivery tracker genuinely made me smile at my desk. Honestly did not expect a fake checkout to be this oddly relaxing.

I gave the snail a name and now I genuinely look forward to refreshing the tracker. Weirdly relaxing for something that does literally nothing.

Finally a service that gets it. The snail tracker is weirdly calming and I caught myself refreshing just to see how far little Gary made it.

Love the concept, the snail delivery tracker is such a funny touch. One thing that would make it even better is letting users name their snail, since you'll be staring at that little guy for days waiting for your pretend package.

the snail tracking loop is genuinely brilliant, basically turning delivery anxiety into something kind of soothing. whoever thought to gamify the wait instead of rushing it clearly gets it.

the snail animation is honestly the best part, this weird little touch that makes the whole pretend shopping loop feel genuinely charming instead of just pointless.

Who hunted Pabo?

Pabo was hunted by Tomer Liran. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
