I'm Casey. I built Hunt Outfitter after watching a working guide outfitter run an entire season out of a spreadsheet, a shoebox of receipts, and about a dozen text threads.
Most guide operations are small — 1 to 10 guides — and the owner is also the booking agent, the bookkeeper, and the person in the truck at 4 a.m. The generic booking tools out there were built for salons and gyms, or priced for big lodges. Nothing fit how outfitters actually work: high-ticket deposits, non-resident firearms declarations, a guide who needs their own schedule but not your books, receipts piling up in a console.
So I put the whole season into one mobile-first app — bookings, client CRM, a guide portal, Stripe deposits, e-signatures, firearms declarations, OCR expense tracking, even a meal planner with party-size shopping lists. I built it alongside a real outfit rather than in a vacuum, which killed a lot of my assumptions (turns out "handle the paperwork before clients arrive" beats almost every flashy feature).
There's a free plan to start. I'd genuinely love feedback from anyone who's run — or booked — a guided hunt: what would make this a no-brainer for your operation?
One thing that would make this even more useful is offline access in the guide portal. Cell service is spotty in a lot of the backcountry spots outfitters work, so being able to pull up client details, waivers, and firearm declarations without a connection would be huge.
