I was running three small Mac apps I'd built for myself: a clipboard manager, a window switcher and a screen capture tool. Each one had its own menu bar icon, its own settings, its own update cycle. So I merged them into one app and added the two things I kept missing: a per-app volume mixer (Spotify at 40%, the call at 100%, each app routed to its own output device) and a system monitor that actually tells you which process is eating the battery.
