I’m building Openfield because I wanted a video editor that felt simple, accessible, and didn’t require installing a huge desktop application.
The first version is completely free, open-source, and runs in the browser. You can upload clips, edit them, add captions, and export your videos.
This is still early. We’re building Openfield in public, and AI-powered editing is one of the next things we’re working toward.
