Netflix Playground is a standalone kids games app for children 8 and under, included with a Netflix membership, with no ads, no in-app purchases, and offline play. That alone is already a pretty strong product shape for parents.

What makes it more interesting is that Netflix is clearly trying to turn its kids IP into a full watch-and-play loop. Peppa Pig, Sesame Street, StoryBots, Dr. Seuss — instead of just watching those worlds, kids now step into them.
