I'm Carsten, a solo founder from a small village in Germany. I built Nemo because I wanted a mobile browser that doesn't watch me – and that doesn't send every search to Google.
Nemo searches via our own independent index (Find by NemoAI), blocks trackers and ads, and needs no account. Your history, bookmarks and downloads stay on your device. It's free, available for iPhone and Android, and can be set to 36 languages.
The search index is growing every week, and more specialised features are coming early 2027.
