I'm a developer, not a caster, but my friends are.
They cover CS2 matches and kept running into the same wall: no good tool existed for a clean broadcast without cobbling together 5 different apps or hiring someone to build a custom overlay. Every time they wanted something, a proper minimap, a map veto screen, a HUD that didn't look like it was from 2015, it was either a massive setup headache or just not possible.
So I built it for them. Then realized the problem was way bigger than just my friend group.
MyHUD handles the whole broadcast stack: a fully customizable CS2 HUD, a Smart Observer that predicts which player to cut to next, a map veto overlay for pre-match, and a built-in Boltobserv minimap with live player positions. Everything comes out as a single browser source into OBS.
The goal was simple: a caster should go from zero to live in under 5 minutes, without touching a line of code.
The hardest part was the Smart Observer. Reading CS2's GSI data to predict who's about to be the action, factoring position, economy, round phase, timing, took a lot of iteration to get right.
