Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm a solo founder, and my best product ideas kept arriving at the worst times: hands on the keyboard, mid-task, phone in the other room. By the time I opened something to type, the thought was gone.
So I built Murmur in my evenings. It is a whole app hiding in a dot. The dot floats over every app on your Mac. When an idea hits, click it or press a hotkey, say it out loud, press Enter. It's in your Apple Notes before it's gone, already on your phone through iCloud.
Two rules I refused to break:
1. Your words stay your words. No AI rewriting, no summarizing. What you said is what gets saved.
2. Nothing leaves your Mac. Transcription is on-device through Apple's speech framework. No account, no analytics, zero network requests. Turn Wi-Fi off, and it works the same.
