Hey everyone, I’m building Motionly because creating polished motion graphics can still feel very manual. You usually start from an empty timeline, adjust layers and keyframes, and spend a lot of time getting the first version right.
I wanted to explore a different workflow: what if AI could help create the first draft of an animation project, but the result stays fully editable?
Motionly uses a structured project format that AI can help generate, then lets you visually refine everything through the editor. You can adjust timing, movement, fonts, colors, assets, and export the final video.
The goal is to make motion graphics creation faster for product demos, marketing content, launch videos, and creative experiments without losing control over the final result.

The project is open source, so contributions and ideas are welcome.
I'm also exploring ways for Motionly to work with existing AI and code-based animation workflows like Remotion and HyperFrames. The goal is not to replace them, but to make generated projects easier to visually edit, refine, and turn into polished final content inside Motionly. Would love feedback on this direction.
