I built Moodyear because every mood tracker I tried asked me the same question — how do you feel, 1 to 5? — and I could never answer it honestly. A number is a strange thing to ask someone for at the end of a hard day.
So Moodyear gives you a face with no mouth, and you draw one. That's the whole interaction. A shaky flat line, a sharp downturn, a small lopsided smile — you already know how to make those, and they carry more than a 3 does.
The reading happens on your device, with geometry, not a model. It resamples the stroke you drew and measures how far it bends from a straight chord. That's it. Nothing about your face or your drawing is uploaded to be classified. You can add eyebrows, a nose, tears — those are read the same way.
