I'm Piotr, the maker of Monelo.
I started building it in late 2024 for a simple reason: I was using free money managers myself and none of them clicked. I wanted an app I'd actually want to open every day.
A year later, here it is. A few things I focused on:
- Offline-first - works without a constant connection, and connecting a bank is never required (your data stays yours)
- Budgets with multiple categories per budget
- Multiple wallets and currencies in one place
- Savings goals with progress tracking + a planner for future and recurring transactions

Really like the offline-first approach, that is becoming rare these days. One thing that would make me open it more often is a quick-add widget for the home screen so I can log a coffee or gas refill in two taps without launching the full app.
