Introducing the first AI-powered personal finance assistant that makes managing your money as easy as having a conversation. Built on top of Monarch's best-in-class personal finance app, available on web, iOS, and Android.
Finances are one of the most important aspects of our lives and are so proud of what our team has built so far. Now, we're so excited to announce our foray into using GenAI to help people manage their money. The envelope of what's possible in this space has shifted dramatically. We'd love for you all to try it out and give us your feedback!
I think Monarch and Cheese can potentially work together to better help the user manage their financial health, we help users build credit while Monarch manages people's money flow. I think you can also add a money behavior summary to users, something that might be a surprise to the users, like you overspent on coffee compared to the community average... Overall this is a good product! Congrats on the launch!
Building this into a product that already exists is a huge advantage. I think the fact that y'all launched Monarch in 2021 gives a leg up on usability so there's less room for error. Great work!
lol the benchmark feature is funny. Curious how it works. I like the subscription cancelation, probably the biggest pain point for me is managing all of my different subscriptions across services / cards etc.
Congrats team! I've been a Monarch user for almost a year and I've been impressed by the amount of insights I'm getting about my spending behavior.
Just signed up for AI Assistant waitlist. Very excited to try it out! 🚀
As a monarch user, I don't want this. Presumably, if I'm using Monarch, I'm a bit beyond "You could afford a house if you'd stop eating avocado toast." Fix the bugs with the existing program, rather than adding a useless feature because it's trending.
I don't want ChatGPT or any related program anywhere near my data.
Monarch looks awesome! How'd you guys decide on what Monarch should sound like? Since it's like a personal assistant for a person, rather than just a chatbot
awesome stuff. could you share a little about your "ai stack" and what you used to build this?
I'm looking forward to seeing how AI helps with finance tools, so this looks really cool. Can't wait to try it out!
I'm a huge fan of Monarch! It's by far the best budgeting/finance app I've found. Really interested to check this out :)
Converted to Monarch from Mint at launch and have been extremely happy. Quick syncing accounts, smart categorization tools, recurring payment forecasting, all for a reasonable annual subscription. (No credit card pushing, thank the lord.) It's everything I want and more.
Congratulations on your launch. Love the value proposition of this! I particularly like the dashboard. Look forward to trying it out
As a Monarch Money user, this does not excite me.
There are PLENTY of other things I'd rather see the Monarch dev team working on rather than joining all the hustle bros jumping on the AI bandwagon. For example, an option for a much more data-dense layout (there's so much unnecessary white space!) Or the option to show a "running balance" in the transaction list, and not a (useless to me) "daily total". Lots of features to add that are more important than a way for ChatGPT to tell people they could save money by going to Starbucks less.
hopefully i will be able to ask something like "what do i need to do to increase my Credit Score" and it will reply back with something like first you need to pay this card then this and that... it would be awersome
Monarch is honestly great, it was my families successor to Mint and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you for continuing to make Monarch awesome!
I'm a new Monarch customer, having recently switched from YNAB. Loving it so far and I'm excited to try this new feature out!
