Markhand
Your signature, perfected. Draw, practice, and export mark.
A beautiful, minimal signature practice and creation tool. Draw your mark with customizable pens and guides, then export as PNG or SVG. Free, open source, no sign-up required.
Hey Product Hunt! I built Markhand because most digital signatures feel impersonal and rushed. This is a space to slow down, practice, and actually enjoy the process of making your mark. It’s fully client‑side, saves to your browser, and you can share your drawings with a simple URL. I’d love to hear what you think - drop a comment, suggest a feature, or share your best signature. Cheers!
The pen smoothing feels really natural for finger drawing, and the grid guide actually helped me nail consistent letter heights. Love that it exports clean SVGs straight from the browser.
Would love to see an option to record a short video of the drawing process and export it as a GIF alongside the PNG. Would be a great way to share how a signature came together without needing a separate screen recorder.
The baseline guides are such a thoughtful touch for getting consistent spacing while practicing. And the no-signup, open-source approach is refreshing for something this polished.
Does exporting as SVG keep the bezier curves editable in apps like Illustrator, or does it flatten everything into paths?
