I built MapKmlTools after repeatedly running into the same problem: many GIS tasks—like editing KML files, converting formats, calculating areas, or splitting large files—required installing heavy desktop software or juggling multiple online tools.
My goal was to create a fast, browser-based platform where anyone can complete common geospatial tasks in minutes. Today, MapKmlTools offers 50+ tools for working with KML, KMZ, GeoJSON, GPX, CSV, and other mapping formats, with no installation required.

Finally a way to convert GPX to GeoJSON without firing up QGIS. The batch tool saved me a solid hour on a property boundary job this week.
